SHE may be fighting breast cancer. She may have lost some hair in gruelling chemotherapy sessions - but one thing you can't take away from Kylie Minogue is her sense of style.
So when she popped out on to the streets of Paris last week, she solved the thinning locks problem by looking effortlessly chic in a gold, green and black Pucci headscarf.
It's all part of a determined effort by the Aussie singer to keep her life as normal as possible as she tries to beat her cancer.
Kylie has also embarked on a tough new fitness regime, taking delivery of a cross-trainer machine at her French fiance Olivier Martinez's Paris apartment.
The exercise machine gives a full-body workout which will help build her muscles and get her strength back following chemotherapy.
Kylie is also preparing to make her first major public appearance since her diagnosis.
Our sister paper the Daily Mirror yesterday revealed how she hopes to appear at the Pink Ice Ball for breast cancer research at the Dorchester Hotel in London on October 7. And a trip to Australia for the ARIAs - the Oz equivalent of the Brits - is pencilled in for October 23.
A friend revealed: "Kylie knows how important it is to build up her muscles. The chemotherapy has been physically and mentally trying. But with that behind her, she has the energy to try and strengthen her body.
"It's a long, slow process but Kylie's determined to get back in shape. And the dates in London and Australia are something to aim for."
Kylie had her last round of chemo earlier this month. She is due to find out if the treatment has been successful at the end of October. The friend said: "At the moment, she just has to wait and see. But she's not the sort of person who enjoys just sitting around. She wants to get back in shape as well as she can."
Kylie - diagnosed with cancer in May - headed to Paris with Olivier for treatment at the world-famous Institute Gustave-Roussy.
She has been supported by Olivier, 39, throughout her ordeal. The French movie actor is the star of a film currently being made in Romania. But he has come to an agreement with producers so he can split his time between Paris and the film set.
Kylie's parents Ron and Carol are in the French capital staying with her while her sister Dannii has made regular visits from her South West London home.
