KYLIE Minogue's on-off boyfriend James Gooding has tearfully begged her forgiveness saying, "The problem is I just love you too much".

But furious Kylie has had enough of James' persistent bad behaviour and has totally frozen him out since their Brit Awards row on Thursday night.

The angry singer, who on Friday flew to New York for the Grammy Awards, is refusing to return his calls even though James is desperate to smooth things over.

"I can't believe it came to this but only Kylie could make me behave like this," the male model-turned-photographer sobbed to a friend.

"I've tried to apologise for being so stupid and told her I was really drunk but she won't listen.

"I need to talk to her because I love her so much. I think the problem is I just love her too much.

"It's torturing me. Either she has messed up my head or I have messed up my own, I don't know, but I just can't take much more of this. I need to sort things out with Kylie and just want to speak to my little Min."

Jealous James, 30, clashed with bouncers after he stormed up to Kylie at an after-show bash and accused her of flirting with US singer Justin Timberlake.

Tearful Kylie, 34, allowed her minders to throw him out of the party she was enjoying with Justin and her sister Dannii.

James told pals: "I can't believe she had me thrown out - how unkind is that? That's no way to treat anyone, especially when it was in front of the world's Press.

"I thought we were friends, but she decided she wanted to hang out with different people that night. I am sick of being her bitch-boy and just following her around when it suits her. I thought we had a special relationship and that we loved each other."

The row started when James sent Kylie rude text messages after seeing her sexy stage performance with Justin. He was gripped by the green-eyed monster when Justin groped Kylie's bottom during their duet of Blondie hit Rapture.

He confronted Kylie, who he dated for two-and-a-half years until they split in May, and the pair openly rowed. Kylie was overheard telling James to "f*** off".

It was very different from Valentine's Day when the pair sparked rumours they were back together after sharing a romantic meal and then going to a concert together.

The following day they also joined up to attend the huge peace rally in London.

When they were dating James humiliated Kylie by getting caught with other women, including model Sophie Dahl and socialite Beverley Bloom.

Last night an aide of Kylie said: "She's had enough this time and wants to get on with her life. She and James are obviously never going to have a smooth ride of it, whether they are friends or lovers."
