KUALA LUMPUR, July 12 Kyodo

Malaysian censors have found the ''Live in Sydney'' music video by Australian pop diva Kylie Minogue too hot for their liking, including it among 195 titles banned by the Home Ministry, a Malaysian newspaper reported Friday.

The list also includes an episode of the hit U.S. television comedy ''Ally McBeal'' titled ''Queen Bee,'' according to the report in the English-language daily The Star.

An episode titled ''The Video Tape'' in another American television comedy ''Friends'' was also deemed too risque. Both television hits are sold or available for rental around the country.

Also banned is the 1999 U.S. movie ''But I'm a Cheerleader,'' a comedy about a girl sent to a homosexual rehabilitation camp after her parents suspect her of being a lesbian.

Shaari Mohamed Noor, chairman of the Film Censorship Board under the ministry, warned that those convicted of possessing, selling or distributing the banned material face a fine between 5,000 ringgit ($1,316) and 30,000 ringgit or a jail term not exceeding three years.

''In order for us to instill good morals and values in our people, we have to stop importing films that are not appropriate for our country,'' he was quoted saying.
